![]() ![]() While it was a brief scene in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier's finale, seeing Sam lifting a heavy truck mostly on his own, is an empowering movement in itself, as his journey as the MCU's new Captain America is just beginning. Throughout his time in the MCU, Sam has proven over and over again that he doesn't need powers or any type of boost to be a powerful superhero. Ultimately, Sam will be a unique Captain America because while Steve was undoubtedly human, there is more humanity to Falcon due to him not being a super-soldier. Or, at least the Steve Rogers who appeared in nearly a dozen Marvel movies. Just like many other MCU heroes, every time they sport new suits and equipment, it's primarily to make it better and stronger. 'That’s Captain America.' Teaming up with Bucky Barnes against the Flag Smashers rebel group, Sam Wilson a.k.a The Falcon suits up again but in a new outfit with his signature wings, reclaims the symbolic shield once wielded by Steve Rogers and the complicated legacy that comes with being the new Captain America in the conclusion of Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series. In The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, streaming March 19 on Disney+, Captain America is gone. What will most likely happen in his next adventures, including Captain America 4, is Sam will probably be making his own adjustments to the whole uniform, particularly the wings. After all, the Wakandan designers did create it very quickly as it was needed urgently, meaning that there is potentially room for modifications to make it even better. After Steve Rogers was reverted to his natural age, he entrusted his shield to longtime friend and partner Falcon. But it wouldn't be shocking if the suit and the wings keep getting upgraded, following The Falcon and The Winter Soldier's finale. ![]()
